CELESTEE Closed hi-fi headphones

Celestee’s promise is to deliver a hi-fi listening experience without the disturbance of a noisy environment or the worry of disturbing your nearest neighbor. Thanks to its exclusive drivers, these headphones deliver uncompromising audio quality, with added isolation and comfort.

PRECISE HI-FI SOUND

Focal’s loudspeakers guarantee excellent dynamics and sound precision, with excellent depth in the bass. Acoustic treatment has been applied to the earpieces to avoid resonance and perfect sound reproduction.

REVEALING THE INTENSITY OF EVERY MOMENT

COMFORT EVERYWHERE

The controlled geometry of the aluminum yoke hugs the head perfectly, while ensuring a custom fit. Memory-form earpads contribute to the comfort and isolation of the headphones: no outside noise disturbs your sound journey.

A UNIQUE FINISH

Celestee is finished in Navy Blue semi-aniline leather. A color as singular as it is modern, which, together with numerous Soft Copper details, gives the headphones a bright, refined touch.

RUNNING-IN

These headphones need a running-in period to reach full performance. This will happen naturally after several hours of listening. If you wish to accelerate the process, we recommend that you play the headphones for at least 24 hours at a relatively high volume level, on tracks rich in low frequencies. This will stabilize the loudspeakers and enable you to enjoy your headphones to the full.

ACCESSORIES

Celestee comes with a carrying case in the headphones’ colors, and a cable suitable for both home and portable use. An optional stand is available for elegantly displaying the headphones at home.

TECHNOLOGIES

ACOUSTIC TREATMENT

The best listening conditions

Designing the best hi-fi products or loudspeakers is not enough to achieve uncompromising sound reproduction. The acoustic treatment of the room also contributes to the quality of the listening experience. The same applies to headphones: to fully benefit from the performance of the loudspeakers, the earcups need to be carefully designed. Our engineers have developed a specific acoustic treatment within the earcups to achieve the best balance between sound absorption and diffusion, for resonance-free listening.

AL/MG SPEAKERS

Extremely precise sound

Focal engineers have put all their know-how in the manufacture of loudspeakers at the service of wireless headphones and noise reduction. Manufactured in the Focal workshops and inheriting patented technologies, the 40 mm full-range electrodynamic aluminum/magnesium loudspeakers are a patented Focal innovation. Aluminum increases dome rigidity and greatly reduces distortion, while the addition of magnesium provides excellent damping. This alloy enables the loudspeakers to deliver deep bass, smooth treble and clear vocals for extremely accurate sound.

HIGH-END CLOSED-BACK HEADPHONES
REVEAL THE INTENSITY OF EVERY MOMENT
Celestee combines modern design, luxurious finishes and impressive sound performance. Their exclusive Focal speaker drivers guarantee excellent dynamics and high precision sound. The earcups have undergone acoustic treatment to restrict resonance and achieve uncompromising audio quality: the sound is clean, precise and with good bass extension.
Another standout feature of Celestee is its unique Navy Blue and timeless Soft Copper colourway.
The headphones are further enhanced with the use of high quality materials and crafted with the semi-aniline leather on the earpads, headband and earcups. Celestees design is a masterclass in Focals craftsmanship.
The aluminum yoke has controlled geometry to mold perfectly to the head while providing excellent grip and even greater comfort.
Celestee reveals the intensity of every listening moment, whether at home or on the go.

COMFORT AND HIGH-GRADE MATERIALS
The earcups are covered in leather and overlaid with a stainless steel grille. The headband combines leather on the outside with microfiber on the inside whilst the earpads are in semi-aniline leather. The high-quality materials are a key feature of the products design, aesthetics and comfort.

NAVY IS THE NEW BLACK
Navy Blue is a modern, timeless and sophisticated choice for Celestee. It is the first time this blue has made an appearance in the Focal collection. It blends harmoniously with the Soft Copper finish found on the rings of the earcups, internal grilles, logo and cable connections.

ACCESSORIES INCLUDED
Celestee comes with:

A carrying case in color-matched the headphones. Transport Celestee safely anywhere with its carrying case that is thermoformed in the shape of the headphones.
1 x 3.94 ft (1.2m) asymmetric cable with 1/8 – 3.5mm jack
1 x jack adapter, 1/8″ (3.5mm) female 1/4 (6.35mm) male

FOCAL SPEAKER DRIVERS
Celestee are closed-back circum-aural headphones that include 40mm aluminum/magnesium electrodynamic full-range speaker drivers. These deliver exceptional dynamics and a linear frequency response that extends to 23 kHz. The sound reproduction is incredibly precise. The M-shaped inverted dome speaker drivers and their larger emissive surface area vastly increases listening clarity.

SOUND INSULATION
Designed for use at home and on the go, Celestee are the ideal headphones for using around the house or when out and about. Their low impedance (35 Ohms) ensures uncompromising sound when used with a portable audio player. The semi-aniline leather earpads combined with the design of the earcups are big contributors to both the comfort and soundproofing of the headphones.

RUNNING-IN PERIOD
These headphones require a running-in period in order to operate at their best.
They will run themselves in naturally after several hours of listening time.
If you want to speed up the process, we recommend playing very bassy music through them for at least 24 hours at a relatively high volume.
This will stabilize the speaker drivers and allow you to get the very best out of your headphones.
